Is there a way in which “read” mail can be changed to a different color? The light grey is very hard to read.
Subject: try themes
In Notes 8.0.1 it used to be a simple matter of locating the notes.css file (somewhere under the framework folder) and open it in a text editor and file the CSS rule for unread mail and change Black to Red (or whatever). But in 8.0.2, notes.css is buried inside a JAR file. I haven’t seen any official documentation on best practices how to change it (I suspect its coming), but some smart people have released a widget to expand the choice of visual themes that look pretty good. By the way, the royale theme makes unread mail a light purple, which is getting close to read

Here’s a tool you can use to edit themes. It looks good…just waiting for instructions on how to use it for distributing new CSS themes to users.
