We are evaluating setting up a new exchange with in a sub-domain of our forest. We can perfectly send emails from the Exchange environment to the Domino side, but we cannot send email from Domino to exchange.
Domino has always hosted the main domain.com for our company. Exchange will be handeling email for new.domain.com
When creating an email on Notes for user@new.domain.com it is deliver to user@domain.com if the same user exist on both environments or it fails if it doesn’t .
WE setup a connection as follow;
Type SMTP
Source Server: our server name.
Connect Via: Direct Connect.
Destinatio server: Exchange
Destination Domain: new.domain.com
SMTP MTA relay host: hots name or IP address here.
Yet it still does not work
Any assistance will be greatlly appreciated.
