We are looking at setting DRP site. We have one main server in main office with apps and mail files and setting up Backup server site and clustering both. I want users to be able to failover to backup server if main server goes down. However when main server comes back up, I want users to connect back to main server automatically. Is it possible to automate this.

Users will be moved back what you call the “main” server then next time they user their mail file. Unfortunately since the user is on the backup server, the client will only go back to the main server by you shutdowning down the cluster server.
If the users goes their mail file using the mail icon on the left vertical side then it will always check the main server (since it is marked in the location document as their home server).
HTH – Cheers

I don’t believe it can be done automaticaly other than when the user is opening a database or logs back in. I find the simplest method is to issue a drop all from the server console. I also ensure that the availability index is set to 100 on the DR box to prevent clients from failing over unncessarily.
Cheers.
