Clustered mail db on non-clustered servers

Hi all,

in the case that we have the following configuration

  • 2 domino servers in the same domino domain

  • no cluster

  • replicas of users mail db on each server

can mail routing acts like if we have clustered servers ( mail is send to any available server) ?

is there any notes.ini entry or any configuration to allow that ?

@john : i need to cluster the two servers for mail routing to continue if we have one server down.

My solution :

  • Make a domino cluster

  • Disable cluster replication with notes.ini entry : DISABLE_CLUSTER_REPLICATOR=1

  • configure scheduled replication

As Barry states, they need to be clustered… Why do you not want to Cluster the two Domino Servers?
