We will be upgrading to Domino 8.5 FP1 in the next few months. Currently we have 2 servers that are clustered for HA purposes. We have another server that is used for iNotes. We want to know if it is acceptable to combine the iNotes server with our HA (failover) server. We are looking to reduce our DASD usage. Thank you.

Why do you have a separate server for iNotes?

My understanding is that we wanted to get iNotes up and running quickly. So it was decided that installing it on a separate server was the answer. This was a few years ago. With new management came new ways of thinking so are looking to combine our resources.
