I have installed a domino cluster with 2 members. Both servers have transaction logging archived activate.
All databases have relicas on both servers.
The properties of the databases are equal.
The transaction logs seems to be different.
This is since the day we start the servers.
Server 1 has the actual log file ca 6000.TXN
Server 2 has the actual log file ca 4000.TXN
1/3 Difference!
Can it be that the transaction logging don’t log the changes of the cluster replication?
I could not find any documentatio that tell me if cluster replication is logged or not logged.

Assuming all Agents are running on Server1, this should be a normal result…HtH

I’d guess that the majority of your users are active on Server 1, and that the higher client activity (and by extension, higher number of server transactions) is the cause of the higher number of transaction log files on Server 1. As far as I know, both cluster and non-cluster replication traffic is captured by transaction logging unless you have specifically disabled transaction logging for a database.
If a user is only actively working from the Server 1 copy of their mailbox a change like deleting a message will have more impact on Server 1 than on Server 2 due to processes such as the view index updates. Since there is no view index on Server 2 (as it has never been accessed) the message deletion has only one logged event on Server 2 (replication of the deletion) but 2 events on Server 1 (the deletion and the view index update).

If it is currently working. And both replica’s of the database are the same, and all views have the same data. Leave well enough alone.

Thanks for your answers,
I was a little bit uncertain that something is wrong in my installation.
