Cluster Directory database listing (dups?)

Have (2) servers in new cluster. Cluster “A” is the prime server containing all mail files to be added to cluster “B.”

Both cluster A & B contain the same listing of files in their cluster directory. All are marked “Disabled” for cluster replication so we can stage the files to be clusterd. I marked one mail file on Cluster server A as enabled and it updated the same on cluster server B.

Made a replica of this test mail file on cluster server B using AdminP which tested the access on the server and then created the replica mail file. However, the cluster directory on cluster server B now shows (2) entries for this test mail file. The original entry for the test mail file on cluster server A is now marked as disabled for cluster replications. A new entry exist for the new replica on cluster server B and is marked enabled for cluster replication.

Shouldn’t there be just one entry on each clustered server ?

Subject: There will be an entry in cldbdir for each replica on each Domino Server

There will be an entry in cldbdir for each replica on each Domino Server and cldbdir.nsf replicates between clustermates.

e.g. in the cldbdir.nsf screen shot below I have mail files on server Clapton/Iris and Ella/Iris and the servers are clustered…

Thanks John.

It has been a while since I needed to set up a cluster.

If you disabled one of the listed databases would that prevent that database from replicating back to the other server(s?) For instance, if you disabled your mail file on your server (Ella) cldbdir.nsf would that prevent Ella from replicating back to Clapton ?

If so , then this acts like just a push from Clapton to Ella with no Pull from Ella ?

We will probably set up scheduled replication (Push Only) from ouver Server “A” to “B” so this would help.
