I am a CLP R5 system administrator and have been work in related area serveral years. Now I want to take the application developement exam also. Anyone can suggest which version to take is better to me, R6 or R7? I think that I will take around half years to get this cert, but afraid the R6 exam will expired soon, and R7 not much company using it.
Any idea? Thanks in advance.

I would definitely recommend buying a book tailored to the exams. I used a book by sybex when I did my notes 5 exams and although there were a few questions on the exam that were not covered it is more than enough to get you through.
There is also examination software available to buy which I used when I took my notes 6 upgrade exam. I used one by a company called Boson which has 200 questions and was pretty good.
