Client Upgrade causes Notes Client License field to be changed

After my users get upgraded from 5.0.10 to 6.0.1, the value of the ‘Notes Client License’ field in their person documents on the server gets changed from Lotus Notes Desktop to:

Lotus Notes Administration, Lotus Notes Designer.

I then have to change the field back to Lotus Notes Desktop. After investigating the Modified property of the person document, it shows the server as the last editor.

Any idea why this would happen?

Forgot to mention that the upgrade is from a packaged MSI and we have verified that the Designer and Administrator code is not used in the MSI package.
