I have noticed on 2 PC’s that compact and mail archive are running at 10AM everyday. I like compact running automatically, but I specifically have e-mail archiving scheduled to run at 5AM from a specific profile. I see duplicate archive runs at 10AM what appear to be against all 5 senarios defined in archives settings. I have checked all replica’s of my archive and e-mail db (there are 3, one desktop and 2 laptops) and all appear to be set just fine. The desktop appears to be where the archiving at 10AM is done. I don’t know how the compact and archive is getting started or where to configure it.
Anyone seen similar problem? I see my laptops running compact at 10AM also but no archive. This is strange…

I appreciate your response. However, doing a search on “archive AND compact” has proven fruitless and I’ve been unable to find the thread to which you refer. If you have a suggestion for different search criteria (keywords) or if you would be so kind as to actually provide a link, I and I’m sure the others engaged in this thread would be most greatful. I am seeing this about Noon on a few of my ND6 clients, primarily on the Mac platform. Very weird. Did you find out anything about this? Duane

I have a 6 client experiencing this as well. However, it seems to be corresponding to the archive process according to the log entries I’ve examined. When the user logs in, the archive process does its thing and is followed by his mail DB being compacted on the server - spontaneously. This whole process happens very soon after the user logs in. Does anyone have any insight on this?
