Client re-install ... same user.id?

During client install it copies the user.id file to the user’s data directory without detaching it from the person doc in the NAB as I believe it did in earlier versions.

If you need to do another installation (fresh) for the same user the install does not allow you to point at the location of the existing user.id file but simply copies the file again from the person document.

Then, if the user has changed his/her password in the meanwhile the install won’t proceed because of the error “You have a different password on another copy of your ID file and you must change the password on this coyp to match” (given that you have “check password” enabled in the NAB).

Does anyone know if this is supposed to be like this? If so, is the only workaround to complete the install by not connecting to the server, then replace the user.id file manually and do the necessary manual config afterwards to connect to the server? Why isn’t the user.id detached from the person doc during the install?
