A few related questions…

  1. Does the Location document automatically inherit the proxy settings from the Win32 client’s Internet Options settings? (My quick testing says no, but…)

  2. If not, which settings will Notes use?

  3. If both sets are filled out differnetly, which will Notes use?

  4. (And this is the big one) - Does anyone know a simple way of getting the appropriate proxy details (HTTP only needed) programatically?

Subject: Client proxy info

There are a few shareware/freeware proxy switchers around for IE5+. They seem to work by reading and modifying the registry directly.
