I have a customer who believes they can migrate off of Notes and still use Domino applications while reducing licensing cost. It’s my understanding that the client access licenses have to remain for applications even though they have removed the messaging servers?? There a total of 7 mail servers Notes Domino 6.5.1 - 7.2. Is there a significant cost savings on licensing and maintenance for 7 servers. I have the impression the customer believes that the clients can be removed from workstations if the mail servers are removed. They have about 50 domino applications running in the environment and they are not going away anytime soon. Thanks in advance.
