Client crashes at startup

The new R9 client from the downloaded Designer crashes each time just after the new welcome page shows. The earlier Beta version works. I use a Windows 7 64bit desktop and below are two of the many generated error logs:console_STARROW-PC_2013_08_21@12_28_44.log

The Discover page.

I’ve reinstalled the beta 9 version. I found a lot of files like console_STARROW-PC_2013_08_21@12_30_48.log but only one nsd_W32I_STARROW-PC_2013_08_21@12_31_27.log

I cannot upload the file in this post, can I?
