A users notes client kept crashing so we gave him web access to his mail file. Works OK. replaced his old PC with a nice fast dell tower system. But again his notes client crashes every time he tries to launch it.I have replaced, all his nOtes files, his id file, local names.nsf, bookmark.nsf etc… Any ideas where to look next? I have no idea what is in the NSD file.

We’ve seen this a lot on WinXP PC’s that had recent windows updates installed. In our case, there is something wrong with the user profile. (These particular users have Administrator access to their machines, too.) We had to rebuild the user profile for the machine to work. (I wish I could give more detail, but I made the “Windows Admin” do it.)
