Client Connection Document - IP address change

We want to change the IP addresses on our Notes Servers. Currently in the users connections documents within their PAB the server IP address is listed under the Advanced tab - “Destination Server Address”

Would it be inefficient or recommended to change this to the servers name?

I just thinking about the future incase the servers IP addresses are changed again for whatever reason.

Can the Notes client machines resolve the server’s hostname name using DNS? If so, try using the DNS name in the “Destination server address” field.

Yes, through preliminary testing, the DNS name works.
