Client Configuration Wizard pops up at everytime I launch Notes

I am not the only Notes User on a Mac in our company, but everybody has the same annoying thing happening at launch of the Notes Client:

The “Client Configuration Wizard” pops up with the “final” screen for configuring POP, news or LDAP

Why is this?

How con I analyze what is happening?

Regards, Thomas

Subject: solution…

Sometimes people don’t have Admin-Rights on the Notes-App, i don’t know why too.

but cause of that Notes isn’t allowed to write into the “notes Preferences file” (notes.ini), and cause that it pops up everytime u start notes.

u can give uself Admin rights on the Notes-App and its fixed.

Subject: Why is the issue returning?

Thank you for the quick answer. I lately did install the client from scratch and checked the permissions of the Preferences file:

ls -Al ~/Library/Preferences | grep Notes

-rw------- 1 tlink NAMICS\domain users 329 27 Mai 2009 LotusNotesConnectionInfo.plist

-rw------- 1 tlink NAMICS\domain users 120 27 Mai 2009 LotusNotesGoBetween.plist

-rw-r–r-- 1 tlink NAMICS\domain users 10794 19 Nov 16:13 Notes Preferences

-rw------- 1 tlink NAMICS\domain users 1270 8 Okt 2009 com.ibm.lotus.Notes.plist

Does Notes change the file by itself???
