I try to clear the replication history in the Domino Directory (names.nsf) on one of my servers. Or rather I clear it (via the “Replication history…” button on the database properties box) and after some minutes the replication history magically reappears again. Why is that? And the really strange thing is that one of the entries is with a server that doesnt exist anymore (there are no server document and no connection or configurations documents for that server anymore, what I can see it is really eradicated from the directory).
The reason that I tried to clear the replication history was that I got warnings in the DDM about replication with the removed server. And I couldnt figure out why. Then I hit me that this could be from the replication history in the directory database. So that was why I tried to clear it. To no avail.
So the bottom question is where is the server storing this data that appears in the replication history and that is the base for the generated DDM messages.
Andy help is really appreciated ![]()
