Cisco Unity cannot route through server

Just installing Cicso Unity server. Seems to connect. Then get message that “Cisco Messaging System cannot route through server ABC/Corp for policy reasons.”

I removed all rules and anti relaying setings on server. I added the user to passthrough settings too.

Here is what the log says:

01/14/2008 02:18:15 PM Router: Message 006F88B4 rejected for policy reasons

01/14/2008 02:18:15 PM Router: Policy Reason: Router: Unity Messaging System is restricted from sending mail through server GMN2/GML

01/14/2008 02:18:15 PM Router: Message 006F88D1 from Unity Messaging System state changing to DEAD. Reason: User Unity Messaging System (Unity Messaging System@glesbymarks.com) not listed in Domino Directory

Subject: More Info

Cisco has found a bug in their programming. Internal calls will work with Unity. However, external call do not have a proper return address, so Domino rejects the message. They are working on it.

Subject: Cisco Unity cannot route through server

In your domino server’s server document → Security settings tab → Pass through → Route through you can specify whichs users can route through the server.

I am not sure how to setup Cicso Unity and how it intereacts with Domino mail server.

Try creating a record for user Unity Messaging System (Unity Messaging System@glesbymarks.com) in Domino address book.

…these are just remedies for the symptoms. May be this is not the recommended way of setting it up.
