We have been experiencing random (and too frequent) server crashes, the bulk of which seem to be as a result of the “Message Queue is Full” message.
So, I thought it might be worth turning off the Chronos task as discussed elsewhere on this forum, and also in the Lotus Support section.
Apparently, the way to do this with my version is with:
Chronos_fulltext_disabled=1
(apparently, after v6.5.1, Debug_Disable_Chronos=1 is the setting to use)
However, even after restarting the Domino service, the Chronos task continues to run happily. I’ve tried both settings just to make sure, but Chronos loads regardless.
Now, I know I can rename nchronos.exe to something else so Domino can’t load it, but it’s a bit messy.
Can anyone else get the setting to work?
