Check sum fail with 6.5.1 on Win2K

I am getting crazy with incremental installers on W2K. It never works and until now I never found a soultion.

Is there someone who can help me?

The option I mentioned above will work only with Fixpacks. If your problem is with incremental installer 6.51->6.52, actually, as your log shows, this option won’t help. The incremental installer works with binary patches to the files and requires strict checksum correspondence.

Your posting coincided with 651IF1 release, so first I thought you are having problems with that one - sorry.

The bottomline is that in your installation a number of files was replaced manually (or without the help of Lotus installers). Another possibility is that you might have deleted the backup files .

In this case binary patching is impossible. There might be the workaround if you still have all the original files backed up somewhere and you can put them back. The installer will run after that.

Thanks for your post.

I think I will give up with the incremental installers!

The server is a plain installation release 6.5 and I did not replace any files. If this did happen then it was Domino or Win by itself!

So, I will have to download always the full installation.

You probably have replaced your DOLS files (the ones listed some time in the past).Try running the installer with the “-force” option.
