I have a friend from Germany who just came visit us in Canada. He is using his Lotus Notes as the email client and would like to change his time settings to here. All the meetings/calendar entries/reminders are shown in German time, which is very confusing for us. Is it possible to change his time settings to the local time here in Canada?
*Note that he replicates his email with the Domino server in Germany, I’m not sure if this has any impact on the solution.
On his notes all the settings he has are at 18:30PM, I would really like to change it to 12:30PM.

First check his connections document, in the advance tab and see how he has his time zone configured:
If he using the OS system then he needs to update his OS Time Zone to match where he is in Canada.
ALTERNATIVELY: (if it’s a shorter trip) He could create an Alternative Connection document and set the Time Zone for that connection document not use the OS and then pick the time zone that matches where he is in Canada.
I would suggest the second if he doesn’t want to change the time on his computer.
