Changing the location of my Domino\data folder

I’m looking to change the location of my Domino data directory. It is currently residing on my C: and I want to move it to my SAN device (D:).

How hard would this be? Is it a matter of shutting down Domino, moving the Data folder to the D: drive and then editing the .ini file?

Any info you can give me is greatly appreciated.

Subject: used to work like that

the steps you suggested used to work until R7, when Notes started writing things into the registry when installing. It should be OK still, but I suggest you keep a copy of the old structure (try renaming the directory on C:) until you have tested.
