Changing Lotus Notes Default Fonts

Good Morning All

I apologize if this is a grade-school question but it’s not something I have played with before.

I developed a database and I left the font at Sans Seriff. I have a user who changed their default “sans seriff” to “Georgia”. (Using File - Preferences - User Prefernces).

In one of the forms in this db I created a field that is actually comprised of 5 fields in the form. I did this so that I can show them as a list in a view. In the view I have that column set to separate mult values with a new line. It works wonderfully, except for the person who changed their font. If there was only 1 value in the multi field, it’s fine. If the multi field has 2 more more values, one of them is always missing. The field has the values, but the view doesn’t display them all.

I’m at a complete loss to what’s happening. If I develop in “Georgia” , which I have done in the past, everything shows fine.

Is there something I can do for this? We are slowly migrating all of our users to R6 and I know that several will take advantage of the ability to change defaults.

Thanks in advance.

I tried to reproduce the problem with Notes 6.5.3, but everything works fine for me.

Maybe it was fixed in 6.5.3, maybe the problem does not happen with WinXP Pro, maybe it’s display driver problem. Can you reproduce the problem when you create a new database with 1 document which has 5 fields which are combined to to a computed field using the formula: field1:field2:field3:field4:field5?

If you make a column to show the number of document in view, is the document also missing from the numbering?
