We will be changing the format of our internet email addresses, it’ll go from FILastname@domain.com to firstname_lastname@domain.com. We will need to update person’s docs in the domino directory, as well as the user’s location document. I got zero programming experience, so any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

This task doesn’t require any programming so you are in luck!
Changing Internet email address in Domino Directory:
In the Administrator Client on the People & Groups tab, select all the users in the Domino Directory for whom you want to change the email addy. After the people are selected go to Tools/People/Set Internet Address… on the left. Make your selections in this dialog box and click OK.
Changing the Internet email address in user’s Location Doc:
This will take care of itself when the user next logs into Notes and authenticates with the server (The changes in the Person Doc are sent down to the local client).

My problem is that I don’t want to manually change 500+ user docs manually, additionally do you know if there is a way to force the update of the location document?
