I’d like to set an option that would chang my Instant Messaging status from Active to Away after, say, 10 minutes of inactivity. In Sametime Connect I can do that in the Preferences dialog box. But I can’t find a way to do that in the Notes-embedded IM client.
Does anyone if it’s possible to do this in Notes (and, if so, how)?

In 6.x the status change from the embedded IM is tied to the Notes client “Logout and Lock Display”
I beleive in 7.x they are adding the ability to have seperate IM time out.

If you press F5 you will be away and you can in the User Preferences set the automatic time for Notes logout.
