I have several users who have been migrated to Lotus Notes from Microsoft Exchange/Outlook.
These users complain that when they are viewing their folders with the message list on the right hand side, or when they are viewing an email message, that they cannot change the fonts easily so that they can atually read the messages without straining their eyes.
In MS Outlook there was a button to quickly and easily increase or decrease all the fonts on the screen.
I know it’s a long shot, but does anybody know any solutions.
I don’t really want to go into the mail template and modify it.
Thanks.
Subject: Changing fonts in the mailbox
The default font sizes in Notes are relatively large compared to other applications, so users may find setting their display to a lower resolution may help more in the long run.
That being said, you can add the following line to the notes.ini file:
Display_font_adjustment=n
where n is the number of points the user wants to add to the size specified in the design. That will be global across all Notes applications. (A text editor like Notepad is all that’s required.)

Which of course can be done with a LotusScript button in an email message you send them.
