Hello. If anybody has a minute, I’ve been noticing that changes to the user roles in the ACL don’t seem to have an immediate effect. I never seemed to have this problem before. For example, if I add a role for a user, formulas like @userroles and it’s equivalent in lotusscript aren’t seeing the change. In fact, it seems like an indeterminate amount of time before they do and I thnk I am having to relaunch notes. Are the roles cached or something or are acl changes like this delayed as a fail-safe in 8.5? Thank you very much for reading this.
Subject: tested on 8.0.2 client
and the user roles behave as expected. It seems like the changes to user roles not taking is only on 8.5.
Could there be a workstation cache type thing at play here? Thank you again.

If it is on a server then do you have the role assigned to the server?
