Change the Display Name in Lotus Notes

Dear all,

My Boss want that on Inbox, it display as he likes.

Example:

My fullname now is A B C, everybody often call me by C so I want that Inbox will display as C A B.

If will be easier to find someone by this name.

I tried to change first name, last name but no help, I see that it always display username

Please help

Iā€™m using Lotus notes 8.5.2 but there is no option as you suggested.

I opened: Mail Preferences ā†’ Basics ā†’ View and Folder Management but there is no option as you said. Just have:

  • When I delete a collapsed conversation.

  • When I delete any document in the Sent view

  • When I delete a calendar ā€¦

Please help me check it again.

Subject: did you update the design of your mail db?

What version of the Mail template are you using? (You can determine this by looking at the 4th tab of Application Properties.) It sounds like you may be using an older version of the template; the feature is in the 8.52 template.

Subject: Change the Display Name in Lotus

I Replace Design already, now the mailbox template on my lotus is 8.5.2 but still can not display as I hope because my Domino Server is still 8.5. I will upgrade it to 8.5.2 soon.

this is the first time I upgrade it.

Do I need to do any special jobs to avoid data loosing or any risks to the system ?
