Is there a way to change the server on the Replication and Sync page? The reason I ask is that we’ve removed a server from our domain, but some people were pointing there to replicate. So scheduled replication on their client still tries to hit that server. I’ve tried to go into Options and Advanced and change the Any Server to one that works, but it still tries to hit the removed server. I don’t have to have them create new replicas from a server still in the domain, do I?

I havent use them, and I am in a hurry right now but you could check for the new Links you can create when you move a database to another server. It’s like a bridge. I am not completely sure it would work in your case.

But in our case the server removed from the domain had died and they already have replica files on a server still in the domain, but the replicas still point to that server on their client. Still stuck with that, but luckily it’s on a few users. I think I’ll just have to have them recreate the replicas.
Subject: Choose Preferred Server
Under Replication Options, on the Basic Tab, use the drop down to select Any Available, try xxx/Server/o first. Where xxx/server/o is your preferred server.
If your preferred server isn’t listed, then try forcing a replication with the preferred server(select application, choose, File - Replication - replicate with options, select the server). Then go back into options and select the preferred server.
