Change Password on First Notes Client Use

Hasn’t anyone gotten this working? I’d really like to know what I’m doing wrong. I’ve created a security settings document. It has a Custom Policy with Change Password on First Notes Client Use set to Yes. It has Update Internet Password When Notes Client Password Changes set to Yes, Check Notes Password set to Yes, plus a Change Interval set.

I created an Explicit Policy and assigned this security settings document to it. During registration of a new user, I select this explicit policy. There is no organization policy with a security settings document.

I login as the new user. It does not force me to change my password. It does synchronize my http password with my Notes password. On the person document, Check Password is still set to No and the Change Interval is still 0. It apparently is recognizing the security setting document since the password synchronization worked, but why didn’t any of the other settings work?

I’m having the same problem!Any answers, anyone?? I’ve got the exact same setup as Rellim T, assign the policy when creating a new user, but it never seems to take effect…

Anyone figured this out yet?? Notes Helpdesk was no help, said everything was set up fine, it should work!
