Change in "Internet Password" does not take effect

If I change an existing internet password in the PAB of the Domino server that serves a webpage to a user, that user won’t be able to use this new password until after about five minutes or until you restart the HTTP task on the server.

I’ve tried having the user close and reopen the browser, append ?LogOut and then ?LogIn, drop all from the server console. The only things that helps is to restart the HTTP task or to wait.

Is there anything I can do to speed this up?

Hi there,

It takes a while for the server to reference the PAB again for changes. If you do an updall -R on the names.nsf, it should then work.
