When register domino users from Active directory (ADSync) the default mailfile name being firstletter from surname and remaining from lastname. Example, Joe Due will be mail\jdue.nsf
I would like to change this, because when register users with same Sur and Lastname it’s being collisions.

Domino Admin preferences include an option for handling would-be duplicate mail filenames during user registration: you can skip the registration, overwrite the existing mailfile, or generate a unique filename just in time, during registration.

I’ll test it this weekend and let you know what I find, though I’m sure you’re right. I had thought that ADSync honored all admin preferences when front-ending the local admin client; this may be an exception.
