Maybe It seems an ordinary (stupid) question, but since it is about renaming main lotus domino administrator I have some thoughts (fears 
) what could happen after changing administrator’s First and Last name. Does someone has some advice or could share experience in renaming the administrator.

Subject: Why Change The Name?
My first question would be: why do you want to change the name?
Personally, I would rather register an additional user and then give that user the requisite Administrator rights. Then you won’t have any impact on the existing Admin user identity. If you want to get rid of the original Admin user, you can do that after the new Admin user is registered and configured and you have ensure that it has all the rights that the original Admin user had.

Ok, thank you very much for the response. I was thinking of that, but our domino administrator has name that bother some people in management, so I am asking this in case I really have to rename the admin’s first and last name. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have normal name like Email Administrator…

If the issue is that some folks don’t like the name of the existing admin, then I would still go the route of register a new one, make sure it has all the rights of the old one, then when you have tested all of that, you are free to either delete or rename the old one. This way, you should have no loss of functionality as an administrator.
I can see where merely creating a new one doesn’t meet your ultimate needs, but it can be a first step in allowing you to meet your ultimate goal.
