? Chair of Meetings not informed of Reource Rename (8.5)

Replicated a Resource Room from 6.5 to an 8.5 server. Upgraded the design, site profile and mail in docs for rooms and resources following http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21329258 to a new domain.

Testing how renaming a resource works before doing this on production resources. When I create a room, Test1Room ,a seperate user creates a meeting using it. Then I rename the room to, Test2Room, and AdminP updates the address book and users can see the new room.

However the user who chaired the meeting using Test1Room does not get the advertised notice that the room name has changed so they do not update their meetings using the new name.

Interesting, when I delete a meeting, I get a mail router error because the deletion from my calendare is trying to send an email to the “initial” name of the room and cannot find it in the address book. No suprise, because the rename updates the address book with the new name.

I have also entered a Tell AdminP Process New but no results. What is the schedule of events for renaming a resource (there is a great flow chart for renaming people names in the address book that would be great to have for resource renaming.)

This has been a problem in prior releases. The appropriate view is in the Resource Reservation database. The agent RenameReservations and SendNotice | Rename is enabled and the log shows that is is running on schedule. Even when I run it manually there is no notice sent to the meeting chair ? Remember this is for a new resource created not one of the migrated resources (containing invalid characters - which is cause for the need to rename.)
