Certify Attached ID File - Recipient?

Hi, this might sound dumb, but does anyone know where Notes gets the default value for intended recipient in the Certify Attached ID file email?

I can’t find this in the design anywhere

Many thanks, Anne

If I understand your question:

But if Herbert’s right, you’re asking a different question.

Subject: RE: Certify Attached ID File - Recipient?

Many thanks for both replies, but sorry, I didn’t explain very well. When a uers ID file is due to expire they start getting the warnings about this and (eventually!) follow the instructions to send an email to an IT administrator with their ID file attached for recertifying. This email picks up a default value in the To: field which isn’t always correct. Our current problem is that all users in South America are sending to the US Notes admin group who do not have the correct certificates to do the job. I am trying to find out where this is set and also the text of the reply message from the administrator as I always go in and edit this as many of users have had problems with the instructions provided

Hope this is more clear and that someone can help, thanks again

Subject: That is the question I answered. But more to the point…

…you can recertify your users before they receive the prompt by using the Recertify command in the People view which has been available since R4.5, as well as the Recertify action in the Certificate Expirations view of the R6 admin client.

Subject: Thanks loads - sorted

… I misread your first posting - I have never seen that form before and when I saw the “other mail address” I leapt to the conclusion that it was on the person form. Yes I completely agree about using the cert expiry views, but we are relying on administrators in many countries to do this and they don’t always get aroud to it, som its better if at least the requests go to correct recipients

Thanks again for your help, much appreciated

This option is found in the Administrator - Configuration - Certificates.Edit your document for your Notes Certifier - Contact information - Other Mail Address.

That will do it.
