I´m installing a new Domino server (6.02 CF1) using a cert.id, server.id and user.id that already created by other domino server (4.6 upgrated to 5.05). I have a OU (Sao Paulo) created too in 4.6 upgrated to 5.05 Domino server.
When I use the OU certificate (Sao Paulo.ID) to register a new person in the new Domino Server (6.02 CF1) I get the message “Server error: The signature on the certificate was found to be invalid. Check the log file for details” when I customizing the client to this person.
anybody help me? What Can I Do? I’d like to Install a new server but not upgrading my old server 5.05. And utilizing the old certificates and old structure.
You didn’t say if the server was in the same domain or not.
If it’s not, then you will need to copy across the Certificate document for the certifier ID you are using (from the Domino Directory) before you can register users.
Also, check whether you are trying to create a user ID that is North American/ global with a certifier ID that is international. You can open the certifier ID from the tools → Certification - > ID properties in the admin client to check this.
