Does Password checking apply to the certifier ID or just to Person ID’s? I don’t see settings in the Domino Directory for the Certifier like I do in Person Documents.

Password checking is performed by the client when you enter your password while authenticating. Since you can’t authenticate against a cert.id, the process doesn’t apply.
