I create in the server a Condensed Directory Catalog to use in remote local workstation, this configuration allow remote people to access to corporate address book and use notes address locally without server lookup.
I configure the cdc in File–>Preferences–>user preferences–>mail-General
In the local address book option i add after the names.nsf the database (cdc.nsf).
Randomly clients have a problem that when the guy tries to add and email address and starts to writting the name and hit F9 it pops up a screen saying:
“No Match This name is not in a directory”
Well i manage to make this desapear and bring the email address but when he tries to send the email y pops up a diferent screen saying the same no match!!!
What i think is that is cheking the address against de local names.nsf not finding any match, but i dont really know how to correct this.

I set up things on my client as you described, and I had no problem looking up names in my mobile CDC via either type-ahead or F9. What was the work-around that you used to get past the initial problem of the “No Match” dialog?
Some things you may want to take a peek at: What does your CDC configuration document look like? Did you specify that the names should be sorted by Distinguished Name? (this is the way I have mine configured)
If you have more information, you can repost here… but if you continue to have problems you may want to contact Lotus support.

Josh, this error happens at random.But i did find something that was very odd, in fresh installations of notes it works perfect but if you upgrade the client from 5 to 6 or 6.01 to 6.0xx or other conbinations this sort of error appears.
I check the distinguished name and it was configure to lastname, so im going to test with this conf. and post a reply again.
