CD to MIME / MIME to CD

Hello there,

I have a major PANIC crash on my Domino 6.5.3 running on SUSE 8.

According to the support people from Lotus, it’s related to the CD to MIME / MIME to CD conversions.

So, my question is - Is there a way to turn off this conversions?!?

I’ve seen a few of these crashes on a server receiving outside mail. The cause is an inbound mail that contains some MIME the converter can’t digest. My immediate cure is to rename the mailbox databases and restart the server. Then I can selectively move a few docs at a time from the renamed mailboxes into the new live ones. Moving the bad one back does cause a new crash.
