CD to MIME error - Works Sometimes... Sometimes Not

Hi All,we are experiencing outbound routing problems. At times Domino isnt routing any outgoing smtp mail at all.

It “appears” (maybe; unless its something else) that notes is having problems converting mail into MIME format, expecially mail with large attachments - basically fails (although if it is given time to do it and not interrupted by other pesky email tasks, it will route them).

If a backlog of mail builds up Notes has a hissy fit and stops routing all outgoing smtp mail, big and small.

Basically fails the conversion on large mail but keeps retrying and failing… all the time mail builds up…

(the mad thing is between failures it still works -why cant it do one or the other. The mail that fail dont LOOK to have anthing in common. Most have attachments, not all. The attachments are various types…)

might be getting stuck on trying to converting specific properties… you have any examples of the messages that cause the router to hang?

Hi Scott, Thanks for the reply!There are no similarities between the failing mail. Most have attachments, some dont.

The ones with attachments, the attachments are of various types/formats

Some are images, or contain images, others do not.

There looks to be no common theme between the mail.
