CD to MIME conversion on non SMTP server

Hi ,

In my mail server console i sometime see messages being

converted to CD to Mime , thou it is not a SMTP server ,

we have a domio SMTP server which converts messages to

MIME

why does a server convert mails to CD to MIME , when it is

not configured to send mail to internet

maybe someone is accessing their mail through pop3 or imap?

But the process starts when it trying to send mailthou we a CRM app. server which sends mails through

this domino server, can this be the reason
