It would be a great enhancement to have a CC and BCC choice that was without attachments in addition to the with attachments (or not globally for any specific email message) we currently have. This would allow the sender tocc/bcc recipients without sending them the attachments while others (regular cc/bcc) would get all attachments sent. This would be of particular use in organizations that are trying to reduce email message and storage traffic.
Subject: CC and BCC without Attachments
This would defeat the purpose of cc which is to send SAME message to other “secondary” people.
As messages usually reference attachments in some manner I.E. “see report in attachment below”, I think if this functionality existed, users would be confused, as they would be expecting to see an attachment.
Just my opinion on the matter.
