I have a categorized view in xml (via the ?readviewentries url command)
I also applied a transformation via an XLS document.
The result is a html document that displays view with clickable twisties and there is no need for a hit everytime a twistie is being opened / closed.
So far so good.
What I would like to have is a javascript funtion that activates an agent and what will display a subset of documents according to the category i have choosen.
for example if my view would look like.
cat01
- HardWare
cat02
-
Dell
-
HP
cat01
- Software
cat02
-
Lotus
-
Symantec
If I would click on HardWare\Dell I would like to have an agent triggered that collects a subset of corresponding documents (HardWare AND Dell).
The information that I now have is:
position
noteid
children
descendants
siblings
entrydata
where to add the javascript in the xls is not the problem, but how can this function collect from the lowest level selected (cat02, Dell) all the parent levels above (cat01, Hardware) ?
By the way the number of levels is in my DB 4 levels deep…
