I have a view that the first categorized column shows the status. If a collection of documents have a status of “Active” I want the text “Active” in the first categorized column to be a specified color. I created a hidden column before the status column, set the column properties to ‘Use value as color’, then set the formula of the column to @If (Status = “Active”;255:155:133 ;0:0:0). However, it sets all the documents under the category to the specified color. Is there a way to have the text “Active” in the categorized column to be the specified color and all the documents under the category to be the normal color? I seen post about using @iscategory, but I am unsure how to use that to set the color. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
If you must have color, this won’t help, but what I’ve done is a column that is treated as Icons… and either used the built in icon values or imported images to use for icons…
Status is one that we’ve used a lot…
that way they can scan quickly to see the Lighted bomb is an escalation about to blow up in their face
Thanks for the quick response. I have a column that follows the categorized column that sets the colors back to normal. However the text in the first categorized column remains unchanged even though the formula test true (@If (Status = “Active”;255:155:133 ;0:0:0)). So what I would like to see is the categorized row ‘Active’ text be a specified color and all other categories and documents under the categories to be normal color.
