Hello Forum,I wish to move a large domino application from a windows server to a linux server. The application is currently running over Domino 6.3/Win2003 and I want to put it over Domino6.3/Centos Linux 3.4. Tests indicate we have a problem with case sensitivity in Linux. (The application was written some years ago when we using NT4 and case issues were not forseen).
Is there a straight forward way of helping Domino to ignore case in URLs, file names, agent names etc etc?
Appreciate any pointers to documents or assistance.

Hi,
I suppose the simple answer is no.
Domino “asks” OS when needs a file/directory and if OS responds that it does not exist, Domino could not do much more to “guess” the correct name.
one idea: consider DB access by replicaID in the URL instead of the full path or URL mapping.
