We have code in some of our notes db that use the SetEnvioronmentVar method to write to the notes.ini file. We’ll now our networking group has put a small set of users logging into the ‘domain’ in which they cannot write to their local hard drives thus not being able to write to local. Is there anyway in which we can programmatically check to see if a user has access to write to local and then if they can’t we perform some other action.
