Hi all folks,I try to use the German Dictionary but I can’t select the file.
The default dictionaries from Notes 8.5 are
Chinese-Simplified, English (Canada, Caribbean, Ireland, Jamica, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom, United States), French (Canada) and Medical (English) today.
I try to “Install Dictionary” and select “German (Reform)” and get the “Dictionary Information” panel with the file name “deutsch2.dic”, but all the time I push “OK” I got “File does not exist: deutsch2.dic”, the Technotes link gives no usefull help.
In general the missed file is available in “/Applications/Notes.app/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/Data/dic” and “/Applications/Notes.app/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/Data/dic/advanced” but I can’t select the file, because “Notes.app” is an Application, also the Finder can’t display the files inside the application. All the time I add the full path I can use the new dictionary, but the dictionary is copied to my Lotus Nodes Data folder.
In general this is not necessary, the used default dictionaries are not copied to my Lotus Notes Data folder.
Does someone know how to select one of the additional dictionaries without installing the dictionary in the Lotus Notes Data folder.
Thanks for any help,
Lutz
