I have a user that cannot save their preferences. Each time a preference is picked it reverts on exit. What file are preferences stored in?
We utilize Policies but the setting the user is selecting are not controlled in any way.
Any ideas?

User Preferences - to be specific the ones under File>Preferences not mail preferences) - are saved in the user’s notes.ini. Check the permissions at the OS level on the file and the directory. I would expect other things to have been affected as well, such as new mail notification (mailseqnum= in the notes.ini), but perhaps those things have gone unreported.
