Can't quit notes

I can’t quit Notes. It just hangs.

I end up having to force quit.

Subject: Please provide us with a sample

Run /Applications/Utilities/Activity Monitor, select Notes from the list of running applications, then click the Sample Process button and save the results to a file.

I am still having problems. Quitting is impossible. I need to force-quit. Any progress on solving this problem?

Subject: A similar SPR has been fixed in our internal daily build.

We had a SPR YDAI7EYUM2 on Notes hang issue on exiting. It has been fixed in our internal daily build.

Subject: When will we see?

This is terribly inconvenient. When will we see a release with this fix. I am at wit’s end trying to deal with the crashes (I know it is beta) and then reverting to tabs that were open 6+ (?) weeks ago when I first installed.
